Unapproved Minutes from HOOLA Meeting 3/4/2017

Meeting at Curtis Watkins Private Dining Area

President John Holman called the meeting to order at 1:20 p.m.

Minutes were read by Chad McReynolds from the 12/10/2016 meeting. Motion to accept the meeting notes made by Cecil Hamilton and seconded by Rhonda Withers. Motion passed.

Treasurer report was read by Tiffani Revis thru the month of February. Motion to accept the treasurer report made by Alicia Martin and seconded by Rhonda Withers. Motion passed.

Everett Martin gave an update on the Coop sale with the 4 States/ HOOLA on April 1st. We currently have 80 lots for the sale between the two organizations. 60 live lots and 20 either semen or embryo lots. It was agreed that we would share our contact information for catalogs to be mailed. No vote required to share the information. There will be a meeting with all the consignors on 3/31/17 at 5pm. All cattle must be in place by 5pm on 3/31/17.

Rhonda Withers made a motion that before a member can post a banner add there needs to be verification by the treasurer that $100 has been received. The motion was seconded by Joe Pinkston and passed.

Alicia Martin discussed the meal for the sale on 4/1/17. Alicia and Everett are going to buy, cook and bring the brisket. They will need help with slow cookers, chips, plates, napkins, cups, etc. Expect 100 people when bringing food items.

Chad -- bread, cups and BBQ sauce, slow cooker
Rhonda -- Desert, napkins, cutlery
Joe Pinkston -- Chips, Ice
Tim Williams -- Ice Tea, desert

Chad McReynolds brought up looking into how much it would cost to do a push on facebook. He will investigate pricing to do this.

Cecil Hamilton made a motion for the meeting to adjourn. Rhonda Withers seconded the motion and it passed by vote.
